HAGERSTOWN, Maryland- A pediatric patient was flown to Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C., Wednesday afternoon after a three car crash.

The 2:42 p.m. incident occurred on Cearfoss Pike in the area Grace Academy.

A second patient was transported by ambulance to Meritus Medical Center.

Two medic units from Community Rescue Service, Maugansville Volunteer Fire Department, Maryland State Police, Hagerstown Police Department and Maryland State Police Aviation responded.

Conditions of the patients was not known Friday.
